Recommended Use
- Scaly Face Mite Treatment: Apply the recommended dosage to all birds in the aviary. Re-treat in 21 days if needed. Full recovery may take up to 6 weeks.
- Air Sac Mite Treatment: Apply the treatment to all birds 3-4 times a year for best results.
Active Ingredient
- Moxidectin 1000 μg/mL
Directions
- Do not apply the product directly to affected areas.
- Apply drops to the skin of the bird’s thigh (separate feathers to expose the skin).
- For birds up to 30 grams (1 oz): Apply 1 drop.
- For birds 30-100 grams (1-4 oz): Apply 2 drops.
- Treat all birds in the aviary as needed.
Precautions
- Regular treatment is necessary for ongoing mite control.
- Re-treat after 21 days if required, especially for scaly face mite infestations.
- Full recovery for scaly face mites may take up to 6 weeks.
